2 Site going offline for major updates!

Construction Zone Keep Out

Rightbeatradio.com will be going offline for a while so that I can perform major updates on the design of the site. I will be installing a new theme on the website which may cause some major interruptions and visual changes to the pages.

Please bear with me while I perform these updates. This maintenance is being performed and will benefit the site cosmetically as well as optimizing the content on the site to make it easier to search and navigate. The plan is to upgrade the website to a more modern look and feel.

As our instrumental catalog grows and our audience gets larger, we have to try to stay organized and make everything as simple as possible for you, the customer. I want your experience to be as easy and pain-free as possible when searching the site for that right instrumental.

I know that the process of finding the right music for your project can already be a long and tedious one, so I want to make this experience as great as possible, without sacrificing any more of your precious time that could be used focusing on creating great media content, music, or products!

I’ll focus on getting the music to you and in front of you so that you don’t have to worry about that.

Stay tuned. More cool features to come!

How to download beats from this website.

How to Download

Hopefully I can clear up some confusion on how to download our music.

All you have to do is find the beat you like from anywhere on this website. Once you have visited the song that you want, you will see three links – directly under the Release Date:

License | YouTube | Download

Windows Users:

  • You have to ‘right-click‘ on the download link. Now depending on your internet browser, you have to select ‘Save link as…‘ or ‘Save target as…‘ from the menu. This will allow you to download the attached mp3 file.

Mac Users:

  • You have to hold the Control key and click the download link. Select ‘Download Linked File’ from the menu. This will allow you to download the attached mp3 file.

If you just simply click it like a normal link, it will open up a music player and play the song. You have to ‘Right-click’.

If you’re still having problems downloading, please contact me.

Twenty Plus Twelve Has Landed!

Heads up!

I just dropped a new instrumental tape, Twenty Plus Twelve for the New Year, and I think you’ll enjoy this one!

As it takes a long time to prepare for releasing something like this, I will still need time to get the site updated to reflect all of the new tracks. Each track will get an individual track page just like the rest. So over time you will start to see the beats getting their own videos and pages here. Please bare with me.

Enjoy this extra-free download and get busy!

Check it out here!

Happy New Year!

Why you should NOT use a YouTube downloader...

Yes, they’re great. They’re free and easy to use. YouTube download websites have popped up all over the internet. Some work great while others don’t do a thing at all. I’ve used them and still do on occasion when I have to.

The problem is, the music I post on YouTube 80% of the time IS NOT the same exact version as what I upload to this website. While people may want the quicker and easier way to download this music, it’s not the smartest way to go about it. I frequently upload videos with an ‘unoriginal’ 2nd version of the same beat for various reasons. One of them because of my tracking purposes. Another reason is because the video is just to get the music online. I’m not too worried about the quality, arrangement or the length of the music being used in the video because the real, downloadable version of the same music will be the final version. The final version is the one that I feel is ok to share which is why I put it up for download.

I have seen some people lately using outside sites to download the music directly from the video audio. That is fine if you are happy with that. Just remember that in most cases, you will not have the official, real version of that instrumental and may even have a worse quality or possibly shorter version than what I have uploaded here. Not all YouTube videos are encoded in HD format which means the quality will likely suffer when being streamed on a site like YouTube. You may not be able to tell, but trust me. It just isn’t the same.

With all that said, I love you all for the support and for your listens and downloads. Please feel free to continue using whatever means you have to download the music we produce. Just remember that if you want the real, official release of this music in the best quality version that I have, download the music from this website.

Peace!

0 Video Previews Added!

Video Previews Added!

This morning I added video previews to all the beat info pages. Now instead of having to leave the site and visit YouTube to watch our videos, you can now watch them directly from the information pages!

The video previews are located mid-way down the page.

So, lets say you came here to find a beat and you found one you liked, started writing to it and your creative juices are flowing. You need some images or visions to help inspire the right lyrics to finish up the verse. Then you remember the video for this beat actually has a few pictures that can help.

Now all you have to do is just hit play on the preview and let the video help you along. No clicking links and visiting other sites, holding back your creative flow. No distractions, just work.

Everything available in one place. That’s what I like.

Of course, you may always visit our YouTube channel to watch/comment there. But always better to have a choice, right?

Enjoy. :)

Problems with Bandcamp…

Problems With Bandcamp

Just a quick heads up. RBR has been having some problems with our bandcamp site. The issue comes when we receive a large spike in the amount of downloads we receive on our music.

As a free member of Bandcamp.com, I am allowed 200 free download credits per month. This will allow our fans to download music 200 times for free within the month. Once we reach that limit, the free music automatically converts into paid music. That is where the problem arises for RBR.

Because my mission and goal is to supply this music at no cost to our fans, being charged to download this free music is against what I stand for. Some people may ask why I do this. What’s wrong with me? Nothing at all. The thing is, I am fully compensated for this music that I provide. I do have a full-time job which is where the majority of my funds are coming from. Along with that, I do run an ad campaign on YouTube. I also have met some very good people who have supported me in the way of donations.

If you ever hear a beat from YouTube or on this site that you like, make sure to download the audio file from our website. It will always be free for you to do so. If you are asked to pay for this music from any other website, such as Bandcamp.com, please do not pay for the music. Instead, come to the official RBR website and download your music.

I will never ask you to pay for any music that I make available on RightBeatRadio.com

Enjoy.
