This is a rather unique instrumental project when compared to some of the other music I’ve done. I am very new to the R&B genre and so I took a chance and tried something different.

I wouldn’t call this your everyday typical R&B music. It’s more along the lines of Rhythm, Blues and Hip Hop. It’s got instruments and a feel for R&B, but definitely has some hop hop influence.

This is my first attempt at a rhythm and blues instrumental tape which is why it’s only an EP. I have had trouble mixing these beats. I did the best that I could. You may find that one of the tracks distorts a little. Nothing horrible, but sonically, it may not have turned out the best. Next time I will remember these mistakes and hopefully do a better job overall.

Thanks for listening and I hope you enjoy this EP.

This instrumental tape has a more up-to-date sound as it uses more synth instruments, focuses more on melodies and above all, quality. I got away from my typical way of making beats and programming drums and just the whole process. Some of the patterns may seem different, but it should hopefully give you a more refreshing feel.

While there is a strong Hip Hop presence in this music, there are also other influences that I think will compliment the tape. The theme was to create this music with original instruments and sounds as opposed to using samples.

There is no need to get any samples cleared using these beats. Just have fun and enjoy.

Twenty Plus Twelve Has Landed!

Heads up!

I just dropped a new instrumental tape, Twenty Plus Twelve for the New Year, and I think you’ll enjoy this one!

As it takes a long time to prepare for releasing something like this, I will still need time to get the site updated to reflect all of the new tracks. Each track will get an individual track page just like the rest. So over time you will start to see the beats getting their own videos and pages here. Please bare with me.

Enjoy this extra-free download and get busy!

Check it out here!

Happy New Year!

Downloading Beat Tapes

I went ahead and signed up at Sendspace Dropbox.com to host my beat tape files. Now you can just download the whole beat tape in one shot instead of having to download each individual track on the list.

I know it was difficult and a hassle to have to download the long way so, my bad!

To download a beat tape in .zip format,

Click on the “Download Now” link in the tape description.

This will open a new window and take you to the download location at Dropbox. Follow the instructions at the site.

If this method gives you problems, please let me know and I can provide temporary alternate download links.

Rightbeatradio.com is still in the beginning stages and I’m working things out as I go along. If you see a feature that’s not yet available or something that doesn’t work right, please contact me. I always respond!

Just tryin’ to make the site a little easier to use.

Thanks
