Here’s a dark instrumental that holds the perfect pace for a hard rap. Rather simple bass drops behind the piano with an organ that comes in every once in a while.

Very dramatic strings help to build up energy and release back into the verse sections.

2 identical verses and two interlude-style hooks.

Thanks for listening and I hope you enjoy!

Tempo: 86 bpm

This is a dark and grimy instrumental. The piano and the drums are both low-fi, adding to the tape-deck quality of the track.

Very basic but great as a dark rap beat.

It’s different. It’s pretty dark.

My idea behind this was an abandoned city. Something strange happened. There’s no people, but I can still hear the outside noise.

Anyway, it’s short as I made this for an intro.

Thanks for listening!

I was asked to sample a song by The Eagles called – One Of These Nights.

I actually found an acoustic cover of the song, played by Carlos Alberto Calabrese. With his help, I was able to turn The Eagles song into a hip hop instrumental.

The mood is dark and very different from the original.

I was asked to make a song with a simple acoustic melody, crackling fire, and wind sound effects. They wanted the feeling of being at a camp site in the woods, so this is what I came up with.

Acoustic guitar, electric piano, strings, synth lead.

There are camp fire and howling wind sound effects throughout for the mood.

Hope you like!

Thanks for listening

This is a 2 minute introductory style instrumental. This beat does not follow a typical sequence, but takes some time to build itself up.

A lot of percussion in the back with a short repetitive piano loop, heavy bass, an electric guitar, and a few synth string instruments.

Enjoy.

I’ve actually been sitting on this beat for a while. I had some issues with the instruments and getting everything to sit right in the mix. Hopefully I got it decent enough for you to use.

I think it’s an ok beat, although it’s fairly simple. The drums are a little off timing. The strings help to give it a more dramatic feel.

Enjoy.

This instrumental is quite different with respect to the arrangement, the simplicity and the drum choice/pattern. There’s simply not much to this other than a dramatic 3-note piano melody, a horn and some strings. The piano and the drums do most of the work here, along with a lot of percussion.

I’m a little worried about the mix because I’m not listening with the greatest monitors, but feel free to let me know what you think.

The video was put together with random shots of people in various situations. I think everyone has something amazing in themselves, and the photography gives this thought a little meaning.

Enjoy and thanks for listening!

This is a dark and stormy instrumental. It is a fairly simple beat with a very dramatic drum line.

I finally finished this beat and it sounded great, but it was still missing something. So I added the thunderstorm effects at the last minute. I think it gives it a ton of feeling so I hope you like.

Thanks for listening.

This is another fairly simple beat. There’s a steady bell pad going in the back that gives it a bit of a sinister feel.

The bass is a funky saw style tone. There’s a flute that comes in for the hook along with some strings. There’s a very faint organ that comes in during the verse sections as well as the hook.

The verse’s are all pretty similar as well as the hook sections. The last verse is a bit longer since the bell pad drops out for a few bars.

Enjoy!
