I was asked to sample a song by The Eagles called – One Of These Nights.
I actually found an acoustic cover of the song, played by Carlos Alberto Calabrese. With his help, I was able to turn The Eagles song into a hip hop instrumental.
The mood is dark and very different from the original.

This piano beat is a little more bouncy but at the same time has feeling. The piano is also repetitive so beware. There is a synth lead in the hook. Strings in various places.

This beat has a piano for the main melody and is backed with a bassoon, which is a wood instrument. There are horns that come in at certain sections. There’s also some synth parts in there. Hard drums. Enjoy.

I have been working on this beat for a while now. For some reason it took longer for me to figure out a decent arrangement. Overall I think it came out ok, although a little simple. There are chimes in the background of the verse sections. The pianos are hard and crisp as well as the drums.

This is a more mellow beat that has faint automobile effects throughout the beat. Not much to this one, it’s got some organs in the back as well. I have a long commute and sometimes I get frustrated, so the best thing for that is something mellow. Enjoy.

This is my doomed attempt at doing another Rock beat. My idea was to create a sort of build up effect before it throws you back into the beat. I got it started but I didn’t build it up enough. And when the beat kicks in, the energy level doesn’t seem to match the actual build up. So anyway, I shall try again soon. For now, this is what I could make out of this.
