Instrumental Mind Control
The Horn is a brass instrument consisting of about 12–13 feet (3.66–3.96 meters) of tubing wrapped into a coil with a flared bell. A musician who plays the horn is called a horn player (or less frequently, a hornist).
This is a piano instrumental with live horns and a rather lively drum break that pops in during certain sections.
For the most part, the verse’s are chilled out and the beat opens up more during the hook with a few guitar licks and an organ.

This is the second instrumental in a series of beats that represent each month of the year.
This beat is full of various synth instruments, one of which being the main arp synth which has been filtered to death. I automated the filter while I swept through the frequencies and came up with that spaced out weird sound.
The drums are a little different. I didn’t want to do the same kind of pattern this time, so I threw some off snares in there and changed up the groove a little.
The sub bass is deep so be careful. I hope it’s not too loud, and I hope it’s not too low!

I’ve actually been sitting on this beat for a while. I had some issues with the instruments and getting everything to sit right in the mix. Hopefully I got it decent enough for you to use.
I think it’s an ok beat, although it’s fairly simple. The drums are a little off timing. The strings help to give it a more dramatic feel.

RULES & REQUIREMENTS:
This is a powerful beat with lots of toms and timpani’s. The instrumental itself is pretty complex with respect to the musical arrangement.
The drums have minor changes throughout the beat but for the most part they can seem repetitive.

This instrumental is quite different with respect to the arrangement, the simplicity and the drum choice/pattern. There’s simply not much to this other than a dramatic 3-note piano melody, a horn and some strings. The piano and the drums do most of the work here, along with a lot of percussion.
I’m a little worried about the mix because I’m not listening with the greatest monitors, but feel free to let me know what you think.
The video was put together with random shots of people in various situations. I think everyone has something amazing in themselves, and the photography gives this thought a little meaning.

This is a sampled beat that has street written all over it. It has dj scratches over a chopped up and repetitive horn sample. Simple drums and a deep bass tone. Not much more to this beat. I kept it simple on purpose to allow the writer to be more creative on their end and come up with something that can fill in the blanks.

This beat is a little different. More synths were used in this one rather than your typical live instrument. The synth that was used is called a Gate synth. There is a lead that comes in to back it up in the hook and into the bridge, as well as a piano that comes in loudly during the hook. Horn stabs throughout the beat.

This is a rap beat I made that has a very nice guitar loop and a cool organ backing it up. Electric guitars and horns come in during the hook sections. A hard drum break really helps with the feel of the track, keeping the song hard and well within the boundaries of rap. Enjoy.
