This beat came from my throw away folder. It never really turned out the way I originally planned it. So it’s pretty simple. I recorded it straight through, no sequencing. All I did was mute the tracks on and off as it recorded. So take it as it is.

Some random guitar loop that I had. I made a beat around it with a nice synth and some strong bass. I also threw another little guitar pluck behind the loop. Yes you hear seagulls in the back. I just put it in for some effect. You may also hear a breath effect. I thought it fit.
The drums are a little different. Everything’s there, it’s just that the pattern is a little funky. But it keeps a groove I think. I hope you like.

This instrumental has an introductory feeling with a leading guitar riff, some flex percussion, a synth, organ and several sound effects. The drums are a bit different as there are no snares, only kicks and hihats. This is only an intro.

Standard intro, 8 bar hook 16 verse, hook, verse…etc. Simple drums that knock.
Rather repetitive to me, but maybe someone will find this useful. Have fun!

A quick heads up, I am releasing yet another unique instrumental tape - The Rhythm And Blues EP.

I don’t have many more details other than there will be no samples, only instruments. I am finishing up the last beat for the tape as we speak. After which I will focus on the effects and last minute touches on the tape.
The R&B EP will be available on Valentines Day, 2012. I will post the final track list a few days prior to release.

A little thing for my favorite lady friends from around the way.
Synths in the hook, rhodes piano playing behind sample. Late night instrumental, so I hope everything sounds ok. The drums were a bit of a challenge to program over the main sample. I tried to use the existing drums and blend with the new ones. Everything has been tuned up a few cents.
